I have been teaching at Almeria since 1999. When I first started at Almeria all 6th grade was self contained. I now teach 6th grade Language Arts and Earth Science. I also teach 7th grade AVID.
Here at Almeria we have the philosophy that states, "Failure is Not an Option." Using professional learning communities we work together with other teachers. Working together we are constantly seeking to improve our instruction and help those students that are falling behind. We plan our lessons and activities to help both those that understand the material and those that need additional help.
I enjoy working at Almeria. The students and staff make this one of the best schools in Fontana.
